For starters!
This is the first post of a new blog. It's kind of odd for me to write a blog in English for the first time, so I keep mistyping, pressing the wrong keys and such. Took me about five minutes to type in the first sentence, but I guess I'll just have to get used to it.
This isn't any new conceptual blog, neither am i some sort of guru and I'm certainly not a celebrity either. As you're probably guessing by now, this is a personal blog. But I'm trying to make it as impersonal as I can. This is the idea.
It's ok if you don't like it, really.
I'm thinking of protecting my privacy, but not too much. You can send me mail through my real gmail account, and I'll probably post videos and such, but I'm certainly not considering posting my owns photographs. If you really want to know who am I, this should be fairly easy: you can just ask me. However, if you don't care who's writing this or who's commenting or whatever, I'll just welcome you anyway.
As much as I'd like to say I'm innovating or making something extra-fantastic... I'm not. These guys are who you should go to really learn about privacy issues.
Incase you're wondering who I usually read and recommend, this is one guy you should read. Seth Godin is a marketer. I'm not. Despite this difference, I have fun reading his insights and what's better than having a little fun? For example, he wrote a whole post just about those "reply days". That one is worth reading even if you're just starting to use computers and the internet.
Another page I've just read is this article on the website of The Economist. In my very humble opinion, the USA economy is gonna come down real hard sooner or later. This price reduction is merely a gasp (like coughing) that won't stop the real tendencies. Actually, I'm betting my own money on the election of Barack Obama Hussein (I heard his last name is Hussein). I think he'll win. I think it's good that he wins. But I'm betting the real crisis is only going to be unveiled after he's elected and the Federal Reserve System (or just plain Fed) stops pumping money out and keeping the system from crashing.
I might be wrong, but who knows?
Just one last suggestion to any of you who has come this far along: Slashdot. The best source for intelligent and interesting news could only be geeks and nerds.
As I finish writing this post, the design of the "Minima" doesn't seem to be satisfying. So expect different looks the next time you read this post.
