Movie - You don't mess with the Zohan

This was a complete surprise. There's a skill you can develop yourself incase you watch lots of movies (everyone on the american continent does): you can become a fortuneteller for movies. After a while, you don't have to see the end to actually know what's gonna happen. Even though this isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's refreshing to find a movie (a big expensive mainstream movie) that isn't tha predictable.

You don't mess with the Zohan (2008) (official website) has several other interesting features. To start with, the original idea came from the the star - that's Adam Sandler -, the plot is based around palestinians and israelis (of course, they're on the US...), there's a cool villain played by John Turturro and you get a hottie to look at too.

To be honest, the most interesting part of the whole movie are NOT the action scenes. Well, at least not the action scenes from the war-in-middle-east beginning of the movie. I would probably recommend you to sit tight for the scenes where our favorite hairstylist-wannabe invvests his power, agility, flexibility and courage to keeping little pieces of hair from falling straight into the ground, making the place dirty. Nobody likes to be in a dirty place.

Seriously now, it was relieving to be able think of my professional life with Zohan in mind. Why? Because sometime I feel like I'm "too old to take a leap" too, just like him.
