Camstudio

A very nice piece of software I'd recommend to you is Camstudio. It records whatever's happening on your desktop to an AVI file.

I'll be using this to show my dad how he can edit together some videos from when he went fishing... Oh well, I guess I'll post this as a tutorial on youtube.
